DAY 1: SYDNEY - COOMA
Depart Strathfield Railway Station (Everton Road) 8:00am; Sutherland 9:00am; Wollongong 10:00am; Nowra 11:15am. Lunch at Ulladulla then via the Clyde Mountain to Braidwood and on to Cooma via back roads over the "Snowball" (the mountain which is the starting point for four rivers - Shoalhaven, Moruya, Tuross & Big Badja). Overnight motel accommodation in Cooma.  Dinner in motel dining room. (L,D)

DAY 2: COOMA - FALLS CREEK
Spectacular and adventurous driving today through the Snowy Mountains and alpine National Parks along summer roads and alongside the Snowy River for many scenic kilometres. See the high country at it's best when crossing the Bogong High Plains and driving up to the summit of Mt McKay - the highest point possible in Australia!  Overnight hotel accommodation in the Victorian ski resort of Falls Creek. DAY 3:  FALLS CREEK - BRIGHT
Travel via the pretty village of Bogong then through Mt Beauty to the Ovens River valley and up onto Mt Buffalo where we spend the afternoon enjoying the many short easy walks, then drive to the Horn for spectacular views. Tonight's motel accommodation in Bright. (B,D)

DAY 4:  BRIGHT - LAKES ENTRANCE
A great day's drive over the mountains via Mt Hotham, Dinner Plains and Omeo then to the coast to Lakes Entrance in Victoria's Gippsland region for our overnight motel accommodation. (B,L,D)

DAY 5:  LAKES ENTRANCE - FRANKSTON
A leisurely day's drive through Gippsland via Bairnsdale, Sale and Welshpool to Frankston on the Mornington Peninsula. Overnight motel accommodation. (B,L,D)

DAY 6:  FRANKSTON - APOLLO BAY
Morning crossing of Port Phillip Bay from Sorrento to Queenscliff, then we experience one of the great scenic drives of the world as we follow the southern Victorian coastline along the Great Ocean Road with many points from which to enjoy the great views. Along the way we visit Bells Beach, Anglesea, Lorne and many pretty seaside villages with tonight's motel accommodation in Apollo Bay (dinner at your own expense). (B,L)

DAY 7:  APOLLO BAY - OTWAYS – WARRNAMBOOL
More spectacular scenery along the Great Ocean Road today after a detour into the Otway Ranges and the chance to experience the Otway Fly Treetop Walk with it’s walkways suspended high up in the tall trees. From here we visit perhaps the most recognisable features of the drive with stops at the 12 Apostles, London Bridge, Loch Ard Gorge and pretty Port Campbell. Overnight motel accommodation in Warrnambool. (B,L,D)

DAY 8:  WARRNAMBOOL - HALLS GAP (Grampians)
The final coastal highlights before heading inland is a visit to the very pretty little former whaling settlement of Port Fairy. We have time to stroll around the boat harbour and historic buildings then heading via Dunkeld to Halls Gap in the Grampians for the next 2 nights in motel accommodation. (B,L,D)

DAY 9:  GRAMPIANS NATIONAL PARK
A day fully occupied in enjoying the great scenic beauty of the Grampians with many short walks for the energetic plus wonderful lookouts, waterfalls etc (dinner tonight at your own expense). (B,L)

DAY 10:  HALLS GAP - ADELAIDE
First highlight is a visit to a working gold mine in the town of Stawell and a drive up to the lookout for fine views over the town. On then via Horsham and Bordertown to our overnight accommodation in Adelaide at the centrally located Best Western Adelaide Riviera Hotel in North Terrace. (B,D)

DAY 11:  DEPART FOR HOME PORT
After breakfast depart for home (own arrangements). (B)
